AWARD involves 14 European partners (2 environmental policy company, 1 public authority, 4 researchers and academia, 3 water association, 1 warter supplier and 3 water technology company). These partners, along with local stakeholders from 4 demo cases across Europe (Italy, Spain, Greece and Romania), are collaborating to integrate AWRs measures into water supply planning.
The International Office for Water (OiEau) is a non-profit association that works in the areas of water and aquatic environments, biodiversity, the circular economy, the small and large water cycles, and climate change adaptation. OiEau also coordinates the project and is responsible for WP6 Impact maximisation.

The Council of Sewage Treatment manages and processes wastewater in the Paralimni region, ensuring effective operation of treatment systems to safeguard public health and protect the environment. It focuses on infrastructure improvement and sustainable wastewater processes. In the AWARD project, the Council co-leads demo case 3 in Cyprus, optimizing WWTP operations to produce high-quality reclaimed water for 100% reuse in irrigation and actively engaging stakeholders.

The Metropolitan City of Milan (CMM) coordinates urban planning and infrastructure across Milan and its municipalities. Collaborating with local stakeholders, CMM promotes sustainable development and addresses urban challenges like transportation and environmental conservation. In the project, CMM will implement Alternative Water Resources (AWRs) solutions, integrate water policy into its Urban Agenda, select NBS-WT solutions for monitoring water quantity, quality, amenity, urban heat island, and biodiversity, and conduct awareness activities across the metropolitan area.
